Licensed in both Texas and California, Colin Duffy is an experienced trial attorney that brings a mission-driven mindset to every case. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, personal injury, and commercial litigation. Colin has counseled a wide array of clients involved in tort, business, and criminal disputes and prides himself on delivering effective solutions, whether through negotiation or trial.

Colin gained valuable trial experience as felony prosecutor for Tarrant County, TX and as a Judge Advocate (JAG)in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. As a prosecutor, Colin handled a range of serious felony charges and served in the special narcotics unit, where he was responsible for prosecuting individuals that sold and manufactured fentanyl. While serving as a JAG, Colin was assigned as the labor attorney for an Army post and as a Senior Defense Counsel (SDC), where he was responsible for providing legal counsel to the 14,000 active-duty soldiers in his jurisdiction. As the SDC, he personally represented all soldiers facing courts-martial or administrative separation boards.

Colin’s civil litigation experience was honed at national and international law firms in Dallas and Southern California, where he handled a wide range of complex matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, from intake to resolution.

Colin’s approach to the law is shaped by his experience as a Marine Officer, where he earned the privilege of leading a team of Marines in Afghanistan. As a Marine, Colin learned how to build a cohesive team, effectively plan, and successfully execute the mission. These same skills now inform his legal practice, where careful planning, effective teamwork, and decisive execution are essential for success. Whether working with clients or colleagues, Colin’s ability to bring people together and drive results ensures that he approaches each case with a well-thought-out strategy and a clear focus on achieving the best possible outcome.

Colin earned his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. (with honors) in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Hon. R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and was an active member in the Michigan Law Veterans Society.
Originally from Thousand Oaks, CA, Colin attended Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, CA, where he played varsity sports and served as the Student Body President. He is married with two daughters and enjoys spending his limited free time outdoors and training in martial arts. He holds a first-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Marine Corps Martial Arts.
